Field water table (TMAT)
The water table is the single most important measure of peat health. Every reading from the team's and partners' monitoring points is public here, marked verified or not.
The first monitoring points are being installed. This page fills in as soon as the first readings arrive.
How to read it
A TMAT figure is the depth of the water below the peat surface. The limit on cultivated peat is 40 cm (Regulation 57/2016). New readings are checked automatically (unusual values, sharp changes, GPS position) and then verified by the team.
